I created this post here so that there will be a second post at the end of today saying that I have completed the job. Heh, hopefully.
Let me share with you what kind of task that I'm going to do today.
Basically, it is an analysis on this two big company namely Genting and Axiata group.
I am supposed to finish a one-page write-up consisting of the two's corporate updates as at end of quarter 3 2013. On top of that, I also have to prepare a statistical analysis on their investment abroad, like the amount of remittance, location of investment and what type of investment they are doing.
Apart from the above, the department from where I am coming (being Foreign Exchange Admin dept) is more particular on the funding of those investment. Why?
Because Ringgit is not supposed to be brought outside the border of Malaysia to fund those investment.
It is allowed for certain amount beyond which it requires permission from BNM.
Such restrictions is to avoid the speculative activities on MYR which may destabilize the value of ringgit and distort Malaysia balance of payment (which is the very reason for the formation of this department in the first place, to avoid those)
Most of the info on the above is ready, what left for me to do is to rearrange all those info in such a way that makes those infos looks nice in the eyes of the bosses.
Alright then, I shall continue my work and finish it by this afternoon say 2.00 pm?
